And eating fresh, locally grown vegetables has never been easier.   Woodside Farms, located in Cornerstone’s Chickahominy Falls community in Hanover, Virginia,  grows all their food without the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. And you don’t have to live here to enjoy the abundance of fresh vegetables, fruits, and other locally grown items, such as eggs, milk, and more.

What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture, or CSA, is a mutually beneficial relationship between the farmer and the community member. A CSA Farm Share is a subscription to a season's worth of sustainable, locally grown produce that is distributed to members throughout the harvesting season. 

CSA Farm Share members are always priority and reap the benefits by receiving the greatest variety and first pick of veggies just coming into season.  In many CSA Farm Share programs, the farm will pack a box of produce for you and that is what you get, but we offer a "market style" CSA Farm Share, where you are able to pick and choose exactly what you want each week at one of our two Farmers Markets here at Woodside Farms.

We grow a large variety of produce and with our market-style CSA you can try lots of new things or stick to the basics. You're also in luck if you're someone with health, wellness and sustainability in mind, as food eaten seasonally and freshly picked is just better for you.

Farm Shares vary by week, based on what is growing seasonally in our fields.  You may choose a half share or a whole share and you may sign up for one season at a time or all three seasons at once, for a discounted price.  

CSA members also have access to our Pick Your Own garden beds, in addition to their weekly bag. The Pick Your Own garden is only open to CSA and Work Share members.

Another benefit of joining our CSA Farm Share is that you receive 5% off of flowers (not included as part of the share), and any additional vegetables added a la carte on to your share.

Woodside Farm Online Store is NOW Open

Make sure to get your orders in before Tuesday afternoon. We still have plenty of spinach other greens available besides our root staples. Check out what we have available!

Orders must be in by 3pm on Tuesday and will be ready for pick up Wednesday at 3pm. Customers can pick up at their convenience any time after that. Paper bags labeled with the customer’s name will be located in our walk-in cooler which is located in the shed, uphill from the red barn.
