At Cornerstone Homes, there’s nothing we love more than getting together with our neighbors in for fun events.  Whether it’s a happy hour at the clubhouse or water aerobics in the pool, our summertime schedule at Barley Woods is just getting started! This season, here is a sampling of what our homeowners are doing to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather with friends and neighbors.   

The Corner Patch Gardens

There’s nothing like enjoying fresh produce right from the garden…  meet your friends at the Corner Patch Gardens to learn more about what we have growing this season! Our Professional Farmer, Sean, will be making appetizers and other dishes and drinks while instructing you about our gardens and what you can make in your own home. Make sure to pick some fresh blueberries and veggies!  Our monthly Cooking Demonstrations are a big hit with the homeowners.  Not to mention harvesting fresh veggies to take home!

Happy Hours

In Barley Woods, we love all things happy, especially happy hour.  Every month our homeowners stroll on down to the clubhouse for a summertime soiree with delicious cocktails!  At these events you'll find tasty appetizers prepared by our homeowners and you'll surely go home with a new recipe or two!    Did I mention that there are fun and new drinks to share too?   It's a great time to catch up with everyone and make new plans for new adventures too!

Pool Parties and Cookouts

On a hot summer day, there’s nothing more fun than a pool party at The Clubhouse. Whether you want to relax poolside or make a splash, all of the fun will be waiting for you right outside your home.   There are always lots of parties scheduled for the entire neighborhood, but you can always make your own!
