It is really overwhelming to think about all the pieces and parts that go into building a home. Down to the number of 2 by 4’s! Not to mention all the items you get to choose like lighting, cabinets, and flooring to name a few.  You know, the fun stuff!  This is when Chris Allen, Director of Purchasing, and his team pull out all the stops.   Meet Chris. Thirty years in the construction industry and 20 years’ experience in purchasing.  There’s a reason that Cornerstone’s Purchasing Department is a hive of activity these days. 

“With the recent turn of events this past year, we have changed our processes a bit to better navigate the shortages of materials and labor,” said Chris. “In all my years in this field, I have never seen a shortage like this.”   But the Cornerstone Purchasing team has done an amazing job of staying on top and making sure everything is there when the construction team is ready.
