A brand new decade is here, which means new, exciting classes and workshops in The Barn at Chickahominy Falls, Cornerstone’s agri-community located in Hanover County, Virginia. And of course, we are gearing up for a bountiful season of fresh produce at Woodside Farms. There is always something exciting happening in The Barn, whether it is the homeowners gathering for fun and food, or the many health and wellness classes and workshops being offered every month.  

Currently, we have homeowners, as well as others from the general public, attending a 6 week course to become Master Gardeners. What is the Master Gardner Program?  Through Virginia's two land-grant universities, Virginia Tech and Virginia State University, they provide an intensive horticultural training to individuals who then volunteer as Master Gardeners in their communities by working with residents, carrying out projects, diagnosing plant problems, conducting research, and many other projects. We are excited for the opportunity to offer this course which will run through March.
