Cornerstone Homes is proud to announce an exciting night of recognition at the Home Building Association of Richmond’s annual MAME Awards! Earlier this month, we attended the MAME Awards as they celebrate the best in marketing, sales, and industry leadership across the Richmond homebuilding community. This year, Cornerstone Homes was honored with four prestigious awards.

These recognitions highlight the creativity, dedication, and teamwork that go into every Cornerstone community and homebuyer experience.

Our 2026 MAME Award Wins

🏆 Best Specialty Marketing for a Community
This award recognizes outstanding marketing efforts that help tell the story of a community and connect with future homeowners in meaningful ways. For Cornerstone Homes, the recognition highlights the launch of our Aster Meadows neighborhood, where we hosted a special Drawing Day event last fall. The lottery-style event gave new homebuyers a fun and fair opportunity to be matched with their homesites, creating an exciting and memorable start to the homebuilding journey.

🏆 Marketing Excellence by a Builder (51–100 Homes)
A major honor that celebrates overall marketing strategy, brand presence, and consistent excellence in reaching and engaging homebuyers. Cornerstone Homes was recognized for our “Live Local” campaign, which ran throughout much of last year and focused on showcasing the vibrant communities surrounding our neighborhoods. Through features on nearby restaurants, local businesses, and popular destinations, the campaign helped future homeowners envision not just their new home, but the lifestyle and sense of community that comes with living there.

🏆 Best Brochure Design by a Builder
Thoughtful design and clear storytelling matter when helping buyers envision their future home, and we’re proud our marketing materials were recognized for their creativity and impact. This year, the award was given for our previously recognized magazine, Thrive 55+ The Happy Hour Edition. Our award-winning Thrive 55+ magazine is designed to highlight the vibrant 55+ lifestyle available in our communities, featuring resources, local highlights, and inspiration to help readers live a healthy, happy, and connected life where they are truly able to thrive.

🏆 Online Sales Counselor of the Year (1–50 Homes) – Kenna McCarthy
A special congratulations to Kenna McCarthy for earning this individual honor! As our Online Sales Counselor (OSC), Kenna played a significant role in guiding prospective buyers through the early stages of their home search, delivering exceptional service and helping families feel confident about their next step. We're so proud of her accomplishing this achievement during her first year of being an OSC.

Additional Industry Recognition

The evening also included special recognition for Ina Hill, who received a Platinum Sales Volume Excellence Award! This distinction reflects an exceptional level of dedication, expertise, and commitment to helping buyers find the right home. Ina has been a valued member of the Cornerstone Homes team for more than seven years and has earned multiple industry recognitions during that time, continuing to set a high standard for excellence in sales and customer service.
