Looking up in the sky this year celebrating America’s birthday you may have seen more than just fireworks in the sky.  This year we got to see the full July Buck Moon.  This hasn’t happened since 2012.  According to the Farmer’s Almanac, traditionally the full Moon in July is called the Buck Moon because a buck’s antlers are in full growth mode at this time.  This full moon was also known as the Thunder Moon because thunderstorms are so frequent during this month.   Check out this cool picture of the Buck Moon over Chickahominy Falls, Richmond’s only 55+ agri-community.

Even during the current social distancing times, Cornerstone homeowners gathered safely to celebrate America’s birthday.  Driveway socials, street gatherings, and socially distant happy hours.    The spirit of our Great Country was there to be shared.   Homes and homeowners dressed up with red, white and blue!!
