Breaking Ground at The Grove at Lucks Lane
Cornerstone Homes breaks ground on its 4th community in Chesterfield County. The much anticipated 55+ community, The Grove at Lucks Lane will feature 62 villa style, low maintenance homes on this beautiful site right in the heart of Midlothian. To date Cornerstone has sold 27 villa homes at The Grove in a variety of floor plans built for today’s active adults.
In The Grove at Luck’s Lane, homeowners will easily connect with one another through thoughtful amenities and community design. Surrounded by mature hardwoods and a large grove central to the community, residents will enjoy this wonderful natural site. Our community pavilion with outdoor fireplace, grilling station and seating will be the hub for neighborhood gatherings. Alongside, the Corner Patch Gardens, our favorite health and wellness amenity, is where residents will enjoy some “dirt therapy” in our professionally planted community gardens. And we don’t want to forget our favorite 4-legged friends, our Pup Park will provide plenty of room for our furry friends to play. And of special importance, community trails and sidewalks will meander throughout the 20-acre site to connect residents with nature and neighbors.
Roger Glover, Owner and Founder of Cornerstone Homes thanked Chesterfield County for being great partners over the years. Over the last 5 years Cornerstone has developed 3 very unique communities, totaling over 250 new homes, in Chesterfield County. “Following the success of The Villas of Ashlake, Magnolia Lakes, and The Cove at Magnolia Lakes, we are thrilled to be building another community in this County and providing those who live here a home where they can age gracefully in place. We continue to have strong interest in our homes and communities, here in Chesterfield.”
Chris Winslow, Clover Hill District Supervisor, welcomed all new homeowners to Chesterfield County and emphasized that Chesterfield is THE place in Richmond to move to and live. The County welcomes Cornerstone Homes communities.
Danielle Fitz-Hugh, President of Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce, congratulated Cornerstone Homes for another property in Chesterfield County, which she thinks is the best corner in the Commonwealth. “Cornerstone Homes is providing another option in housing in our market, and we look forward to more partnerships with them.”
Danna Markland, CEO of the Richmond Homebuilders Association commented, “Across the State of Virginia, 3000 of Cornerstone’s peers, have recognized them as being a leading innovator of quality products and community amenities. That’s because they are not just building homes but building a community. And they are setting an industry standard far above what was the bar at one point. So, on behalf of the 3000 builders and developers and all the businesses that go into the building of a home, I want to congratulate Roger and his team and thank you for setting that higher bar. We are proud to have them in our community. Chesterfield County is a premier place and the Grove at Lucks Lane is a premier place to live.”
