Karan and her husband Jay will soon hit the one year anniversary milestone as homeowners at Chickahominy Falls.  But  connections to their  neighbors started long before they moved in.  You see, Cornerstone takes care of their buyers from day one.   They make sure to cultivate fun from the get go and keep you connected with Happy Hours and weekly coffees so you get to know your new neighbors long before you even move in!

As soon as Karan and Jay picked their lot, Cornerstone invited them to an organized gathering for all buyers at James River Winery, a hop, skip and a jump from the community.  “We have made fast and committed friends from the get go.  We have so much in common.  These are some of the best friends we have ever had and are continuing to nurture them,” said Karan. 

Karan also jumped in with both feet with social activities at Chickahominy Falls.  She is a member of the Welcome Committee for new neighbors and she organized getting the initial interest lists and sign-ups for new clubs.  Right now, there are wine clubs, a ladies lunch club, travel club, bunko, coffees, happy hours, cooking classes with a nutritionist, and much more.  Like all Cornerstone communities, the happiness here goes on and on.
