Roger Glover, Owner and Founder of Cornerstone Homes, reflects over the past year and shares his vision for the future of Cornerstone Homes.  

For most of us, it is hard to believe it has been a year since our Country went into lockdown and life was put on pause.   Everything and everyone pretty much did a major pivot on how we connect with each other and how to continue to do business and live life.   For Cornerstone Homes that meant how could we keep our buyers and homeowners connected and ensure that we could move forward with building their homes.   

“In March of 2020 we came to a total standstill and had to cease all direct contact with our buyers, homeowners, and prospects,”   said Roger.  Because we build exclusively for the 55+ market, our buyers and homeowners are the most at risk during this pandemic.  “However, our team did an amazing job of resetting our focus on all things virtual and implementing  tight safety measures to keep our buyers moving forward with closing their homes, buying new homes and keeping our homeowners connected to us and each other.” 

That all said, technology played a big part in our continuing to connect with everyone.  It goes without saying a lot of our homeowners got much more comfortable with technology.   If there is one good thing to come out of this is that the pandemic certainly narrowed the technology gap between grandkids and grandparents!

Roger shares some interesting insights from this past year, how our team creatively kept everyone connected, and a peek into the exciting future of new Cornerstone Homes’ communities that are in the works.  

“There is nothing more important to us than building quality homes and top-notch health and wellness amenities to enhance the lives of our buyers.”  

This is our top priority for 2021 and beyond.  It is our honor to be a part of this exciting phase of our buyers and homeowner’s lives.
