Let the fun begin! A new home with all the comforts and features you want is on the horizon. Now is the time create your home and add all your personal touches.  Lori Melton, Cornerstone’s Design Consultant, is here to make this journey fun and to ensure you have all the information you need to make the right choices so your home is all about you!

To prepare for your Design appointment, Lori will send you an email with tips to prepare and a packet of important information for you to review. The packet will include info such as diagrams of included electrical options, cabinet layouts and other standard features in our homes. Take this time to review and think about how you live and which features may make your life more comfortable.  For example, need an electrical outlet in your big walk-in closet so you can iron? What about additional outlets in the garage for your woodworking hobby? Or special lighting needs.  This is the time to put on your thinking caps and dream big! And don’t forget, Lori is available with any questions or suggestions prior to your appointment!

Lori also highly suggests visiting our design center and model homes prior to your appointment so you can be familiar with all the selections Cornerstone offers.

Recently we sat down with Lori to discuss what to expect during your design appointment.  Take a few minutes to watch this helpful video on more tips to prepare.  Be on the lookout for our popular "Wine and Design " or "Danish and Design" preview events that will be starting back up soon.  During these events Lori will be on site  to show you around the showroom and answer any questions.

This is a fun time.   Bring pictures of your favorite design styles, furniture you want to use, fabric samples, pillows, etc., and Lori will help you design your home around your favorites.
