Making All the Pieces and Parts Work - Meet Josh!
Did you know that it would take 10 million Legos to build an average 2000 square foot home? Well, Cornerstone homes are not made out of Legos but there are A LOT of pieces and parts that come together to build and finish a home. So let us introduce you to the person that can juggle it all and make your house a home.Meet Josh
We’re excited to introduce you to Josh, Cornerstone’s Production Manager. He oversees construction at all Cornerstone Homes communities. Needless to say, with the popularity of Cornerstone Homes communities, Josh has a lot on his plate. But that is where his extraordinary people and organizational skills combined with the best team in the industry comes into play!
Josh has been in the active adult residential building industry for quite a while. He understands that this is not our homeowner’s first rodeo. This is their forever home and they want it right. And Josh makes it right by overseeing your home from the first footer being poured to the final cleaning of your finished home. He ensures the construction team follows the right processes, schedules trade partners in the most efficient way, and ensures that inspections are A+. You will experience Josh’s commitment and work ethic when you meet with him several times during the construction of your new home. “Meeting and getting to know each of our homeowners is one of the best parts of my job. This is an exciting time in their lives and I want to make sure they are happy and excited about their new adventure,” said Josh. With Josh at the helm of our construction, you can rest assured that you’ll get the highest-quality home on the market, built with equal parts expertise and equal parts care.
Josh was drawn to the way that Cornerstone Homes does things differently. “We take the construction process and enhance it to a level that other builders can’t compete with. We handle each homeowner as if they were our own family member and it shows when we’re onsite and they are happy to see us.”
Having grown up in a Navy family, Josh’s family moved around every 3 to 4 years, settling in different states from Virginia to South Carolina. This constant movement taught Josh to truly appreciate his family and friends, and the time he got to spend with them. Every day, Josh embodies these family values in both the work he does for Cornerstone Homes and the way in which he interacts with his team and homeowners.
When he’s not in the office, Josh is working toward his masters in construction management from LSU. He’s also an avid cyclist and hopes to ride 3,000 miles between his 3 bikes this year. Josh’s personal inspiration is his grandparents — knowing that they didn’t have the opportunity to live in a place like Cornerstone Homes is what motivates him to constantly improve in his work. His #1 goal, above all else, is to ensure that everyone gets to experience how incredible an active adult community like Cornerstone Homes can be.
Last but not least, if Josh’s life had a theme song, he says that “Don’t Stop Believing” would fit the best, and we couldn’t agree more… Josh never stops working to make the lives of our homeowners better! We want to thank you for all that you do!
