The Villas at Pepper's Ferry is located in the heart of Virginia's New River Valley, in Montgomery County near Blacksburg and Christiansburg, VA. The neighborhood takes its name from the nearby community of Pepper and Peppers Ferry Road, named for Samuel Pepper, who settled here in about 1765 and later operated a ferry across the New River. He was the grandfather of Dr. Charles Pepper, for whom the Dr. Pepper soft drink was named!!
The community opened for residents in the summer of 2005. This community is a blend of wonderful neighbors from all parts of the country. The Villas at Pepper's Ferry is convenient to regional shopping, restaurants, Virginia Tech and Radford University. The spectacular Virginia scenery is breathtaking. If you love the outdoors, you'll love the Huckleberry Trail, a nature and bike path located within easy walking distance of the community. This six mile long trail is part of the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, extending along a former railway line from Christiansburg to Blacksburg.
In addition to beautiful home designs to choose from, The Villas at Pepper's Ferry includes a community clubhouse with kitchen facilities, well-equipped fitness center, heated swimming pool, bocce court, putting green, and other features.
